Where it all begins
……..and where it ends I guess. Bike crash, broken collar bone, and the potential of missing the entire summer.
“How did it happen?”. The truth is, I don’t remember much of the crash. I can see myself wobbling, then falling to the ground, and them standing beside my bike, that is it.
As far as I can gather I grabbed a GU Gel from my jersey, and once back on my my aerobars, tried to fix my glove. I must have shifted my weight unevenly on the pads, and the next thing I knew, I was skidding across the pavement?
Ending my training for the Chinook 119.1. That sucks.
Missing the opportunity to run with my daughter in her first Kids Of Steel Triathlon. That really sucks.
Time to take a roll call of why I do what I do and how I do it. Guess I have the next 6-8 weeks to figure it out.
